Delaware River Consort

The Delaware River Consort, a vocal quartet founded in 1983, has performed throughout New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. The group’s repertoire consists primarily of a capella sacred and secular music of the fifteenth through twentieth centuries with an emphasis on the European Renaissance and Early American periods. The Delaware River Concert has performed extensively with several early instrument ensembles including La Spirita, The Engelchor Consort, and Spectra Musica. An appearance in the South Jersey Symphony Orchestra's subscription series was one of the group's many highlights. The group offers programs with selected cultural, historical, and seasonal themes, and is available in period costuming, when appropriate.
