On Friday, April 29, 7PM, the Princeton Public Library presents "Tuneful Felicity," a program of music from early Federal period America performed by The Practitioners of Musick**, John Burkhalter, recorder and harpsichordist Donovan Klotzbeacher.  The Practitioners of Musick will be joined by soprano Sarah Pelletier and six girls from the Princeton High School Choir. This entertainment includes the "sonata" sung to George Washington on the occasion of his April 21st, 1789 re-entry into Trenton on his way to Federal Hall in New York City to be inaugurated as the first President of the United States.

La Fiocco** will be performing opening the acclaimed Raritan River Music concert series on Saturday, May 7, 2016, 7:30PM at the historical Prallsville Mills, 22 Risler Street, Stockton, New Jersey.  

The program is entitled Colonists and Rebels:  Music of New Jersey and Pennsylvania from Colonial and Federal America.   Advance tickets $21; $14 for students and seniors.  Tickets at the door, if available $25; $15 for students and seniors.  Discount subscriptions are available.

Le Triomphe de l'amour**  presents a concert of music for two harpsichords at the Unitarian Church of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, in Princeton, New Jersey, Saturday, May 7, 8PM.  Harpsichordists Janet Palumbo and Minju Lee will perform harpsichord duets by Mozart, Charles Burney, and Gaspard Le Roux.  Solo harpsichord music by J.S. Bach, Handel, and Froberger will also be included on the program and John Burkhalter, recorder, will join the duo to perform music by Vivaldi and Telemann.
