Recorder players of all levels are invited to the Highland Park Recorder Society’s monthly playing session on Monday, October 23, 2017, 7-9 P.M with esteemed guest conductor Rainer Beckmann. Please arrive at 6:30 with your instruments and music stand to set up in the Parlor Room of the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 South Second Ave., Highland Park, NJ. Free parking  in back of the church reached via Magnolia Street, between 2nd and 3rd Avenues. ADA handicapped accessible. This session is FREE to first timers and members. Bach and his musical forebears in this program of German Baroque sinfonias and cantatas featuring countertenor Daniel MoodyWith Linda Kistler & Dan McCarthy, baroque violins, Vivian Barton Dozor, viola da gamba, Benjamin Berman, organ & harpsichord, and artistic director Lewis R. Baratz, recorder & harpsichord. Music of Heinrich Schütz, Casper Kittel, Philipp Heinrich Erlebach, Johann Philipp Krieger, Johann Pachelbel, Dieterich Buxtehude, and Bach family members Johann Michael, Johann Christoph, and the incomparable Johann Sebastian.

Riverview Early Music* presents BEDLAM:  Kayleen Sanchez, soprano, and Laudon Schuett, lute, Saturday. Nov. 4 at 8:00 PM.
