La Fiocco** will present a program of English 17th-century music from the courts of the Stuart Kings of England, from the time of James I to Queen Anne.  Sunday, March 17, 2013, 4PM.  Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Road (Rte 263 & Sugan Road), Solebury (New Hope), PA.  $25 general admission, $20 seniors, $10 students; cash or check.  Works by John Dowland, Phillip Rosseter, and John Wilbye; sacred music of Matthew Locke and Henry Purcell; songs of John Blow and Henry Hall; instrumental works from Jacobean Masques and by William Lawes.  On period instruments.  Visit www.lafiocco.org or email info@lafiocco.org.  Lewis R. Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM, David Clark Little performs harpsichord music by French and Spanish master composers from the Baroque to early Classical periods are presented in today’s program. Featured composers will include D. Scarlatti, Soler, d’Anglebert, Rameau, F. Couperin, Duphly, and Balbastre. David’s performance, full of dazzling leaps, hand-crossings, and spicy ornamentation, will be played on his double-manual harpsichord, locally built by Robert Wilson.

La Fiocco** presents Bach & Beyond, Music of the German Baroque, a program dedicated to Bach and the influences on Bach's musical esthetic.  Featured works include the Concerto for Harpsichord and Strings in G Minor and Cantata 51, Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen.  Also music of Schütz, Froberger, Buxtehude, Schenck, Torelli, and Handel.
