Guild for Early Music Event - Dancing and Singing with Queen Elizabeth I
February 15, 2009, 3:00 PM - Princeton Public Libary

Members of the Guild for Early Music will present an interactive youth concert of Renaissance music entitled "Singing and Dancing with  Queen Elizabeth I," on Sunday Feb. 15  at the Princeton Library at  3:30.

Period music will be sung, danced, and played on such  instruments as the recorders, gambas, krumhorns and other wind and  percussion instruments.  All family members are invited to attend  this free program.  For additional information contact Jan Johnson at  JJohnson@princetonlibrary.org.

A Bach Christmas in Princeton!  Nothing feels like the spirit of the season more than the grandeur of Bach’s music, with 100 choral singers, trumpets, drums, stellar soloists and orchestra, all in festive downtown Princeton. Step back in time to 1723-1724, Leipzig, Germany and enjoy the authentic sounds of some of the special music J.S. Bach wrote for Christmas-tide.

This concert has been generously underwritten by Judith & William Scheide, and will be a tribute to the late Mr. Scheide. Saturday, December 20 at 8:00PM. Richardson Auditorium, Princeton.
