Biber Baroque - Christmas music of the Baroque Era.

Biber Baroque presents a Christmas concert with guest soprano Beth Anne Hatton and recorder player Lewis Baratz. This festive chamber music program includes A. Scarlatti’s Christmas cantata O di Betlemme altera, Lalande’s Noels en trio, old English carols, and instrumental work by Vivaldi, Corelli, Leclair, and Biber.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 7:30 PM, Trinity Episcopal Church, 555 Palisade Avenue, Cliffside Park, NJ.  $10 suggested donation at the door.

Le Triomphe de l’amour** performs music from 18th-century Venice, including Vivaldi’s cantata All’ombra di sospetto and Concerto in F major, sonatas for violin and for recorder by Albinoni, and Galuppi’s virtuoso aria Di spavento as well as his harpsichord sonata in E minor.
