Cantus Novus - The American Heritage: A British Legacy - 8PM
Newtown Prebyterian Church

Cantus Novus ("new song") performs Eric Whitacre's "Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine" and works of Britten, Stanford, Weelkes, Copland, Billings, Thompson and others under direction of Dr. Charles Sundquist.

This is the second performance, and will be held:

May 7, 8:00 PM at Newtown Presbyterian Church, 25 N. Chancellor Street, Newtown, PA;

May 15, 4:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 16 All Saints Road, Princeton, NJ.

La Fiocco** will be performing opening the acclaimed Raritan River Music concert series on Saturday, May 7, 2016, 7:30PM at the historical Prallsville Mills, 22 Risler Street, Stockton, New Jersey.  

The program is entitled Colonists and Rebels:  Music of New Jersey and Pennsylvania from Colonial and Federal America.   Advance tickets $21; $14 for students and seniors.  Tickets at the door, if available $25; $15 for students and seniors.  Discount subscriptions are available.

Le Triomphe de l'amour**  presents a concert of music for two harpsichords at the Unitarian Church of Princeton, 50 Cherry Hill Road, in Princeton, New Jersey, Saturday, May 7, 8PM.  Harpsichordists Janet Palumbo and Minju Lee will perform harpsichord duets by Mozart, Charles Burney, and Gaspard Le Roux.  Solo harpsichord music by J.S. Bach, Handel, and Froberger will also be included on the program and John Burkhalter, recorder, will join the duo to perform music by Vivaldi and Telemann.
