La Fiocco: Music of German-Speaking Composers
St. Andrew's Church, Lambertville, NJ 8:00 PM
La Fiocco, a Bucks County, PA-based early music ensemble, will perform music by 17th- and 18th-century German-speaking composers.  Artists Michelle Cosgrove, baroque flute, Rachel Evans, baroque violin, Eva Kuhn, baroque cello, and Lewis R. Baratz, harpsichord and English square piano, will perform works by Froberger, Biber, Bach, Telemann, and Haydn.  Of particular interest is the Haydn piano trio in Eb Major, which will be performed using a Longman and Broderip square piano built in 1794, the same year Haydn sojourned in England thus bringing a true late 18th-century esthetic to this concert.
