*Practitioners of Musick and Brandywine Baroque - Practitioner of Musick John Burkhalter joins with Brandywine Baroque, Delaware’s premier early music ensemble, led by harpsichordist and artistic director Karen Flint, in a program entitled, “Contrasting Voices: A Dibdin Medley”. This program focuses attention on the London theatre music of Charles Dibden and his contemporaries. John Burkhalter will also present a pre-concert talk (at 7:30 in Wilmington and 7:00 at Lewes), entitled, “To Delight the Ear: Musick in 18th Century London”. Artek & Piffaro - ARTEK and Piffaro in concert: Schutz, Scheidt, Schein & Praetorius. The ARTEK singers and continuo band join Philadelphia's celebrated Renaissance wind band for a special joint concert. 8:00 pm, All Saints Church, Princeton, NJ Tickets are $30 and $20 for seniors and students. *Lewis Baratz - You are cordially invited to attend a harpsichord concert featuring Lewis R. Baratz, on Sunday April 13, 2008, at 3:00 PM. The concert is a benefit for Kehilat HaNahar, the Little Shul by the River, 85 West Mechanic Street, New Hope, Pennsylvania. The program will include works by early 17th-century Italian composers Giovanni Battista Ferrini and Michelangelo Rossi, the mid-17th-century French composer Louis Couperin, the incomparable J. S. Bach, and Franz Joseph Haydn. Guest artist Michelle Dawn Cosgrove, will be featured in works by 18th-century composers Michel Blavet and Johann-Joachim Quantz.
